Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Welcome to The Scrapbook News and Review "Oh Say Can You See" 4th of July Blog Hop! I am so glad you stopped by to visit as well as join in the SNR Card Universe Blog Hop. If you came here from Andrea's blog, you are in the right place. If not, you may want to hop back to the beginning which starts at SNR Card Universe.
About my card..... Meet Ace who is a Shirley's 2 Girls digital image called 'Ace- Red, White & Blue' (DG20). Isn't he the cutest! I colored my image with Copic markers and added fun flock to Ace's belly. (This is the first time I tried flocking, and I just love the results. Although you can't see it in the photo, it adds dimension and such a cool look to your image. Plus it's not messy like glitter.) In addition, I paper pieced Ace's sign, which reads, 'three cheers for the red, white and blue'!
Supplies: Stamps - S2G Ace-Red, White & Blue (DG20); Paper - SU! ballet blue, night of navy, PTI white, Recollections red & DCWV textured red; Accessories - Ribbon and metal stars purchased at Mike's; Fun Flock in white, clear stardust pen, Fiskars star punch and MS border.
To thank everyone for visiting today, I am offering some blog candy! For a chance to win this Verve Visual set (shown below), just leave a comment regarding my card. The blog hop ends on Sunday, July 5th at 10PM, CST. I will post the name of the winner of my blog candy by noon on Monday, July 6.
Thanks so much for stopping by and stop back on Monday to check out the blog candy winner...... it could be you!
