S2GSC19 - 'Christmas in July' #3 Twisted Thursday!

This is the third and last in the special 'Christmas in July' series of Twisted Thursday challenges. This week's challenge/twist is to create a shaped Christmas card using a shape other than a standard square of rectangle.
So please join in the fun! Here are deets you need to follow in order to win an early Christmas present which includes a variety of S2G Christmas stamps/papers/embellishments:
  • Create any shaped Christmas card.
  • Leave a comment and post a direct link to your card, using Mr. Linky, on the S2G Paper Crafting Contest Challenge Blog. Don't forget to use keywords S2GSC19 and shirleys2girls for SCS or other online galleries.
  • Deadline for submission is Sunday, July 19, at midnight PDT.
For my shape, I chose the stair step. I learned this easy fold at one of Vera's fabulous card classes. You can find the directions for Vera's card here.
I started out with a 4-1/4″ x 10-1/2″ piece of PTI white cardstock. This paper was scored at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 4-1/4″, 6″, and 8-1/4″; then folded into stair steps beginning with the smallest fold. My S2G image is called We Won't Go Cats (SGH 10) and was stamped on PTI white and colored with Copics. The 'risers' of my stairs are layered with SU! glorious green and S2G digital DP. I then added faux metal brads, red rhinestones, Sandylion poinsettias and a Lasting Impressions metal sentiment and I was done!
Supplies: Stamps - Shirley's 2 Girls - We Won't Go Cats (SGH10); Paper - S2G Digital Paper, SU! glorious green, PTI white; Ink - Versafine onyx black; Accessories - clear EP, faux metal brads, red rhinestones, Sandylion poinsettias, Lasting Impressions sentiment, Nesties, and Copics for coloring.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Wishing you a fabulous day and sure hope you join in the fun!
(Oops, I almost forgot to mention that Shirley's 2 Girls is offering free shipping for the entire month of July!)
