WSC70 Break and Mend #2

Happy Saturday, everyone.  This week, Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge is being hosted by Lori Craig.  Lori also created this weekend's awesome sketch (WSC70).  You can find all the details on Lori's blog, Make a Difference.
I had some time to play this morning, so I made a card for the WSC70 using my Shirley's 2 Girls' Break and Mend image.  I stamped my image on PTI's linen vellum cardstock and teamed it with some marblelized paper I purchased when we were in Colonial Williamsburg in December.  So glad I finally cut into it -- I need to stop hoarding and start using my supplies.
Hope you also find the time for some stamping fun.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Supplies:  Stamps - Shirley's 2 Girls - Break and Mend; Paper - PTI linen Vellum cardstock, SU! not quite navy, so saffron, marblelized paper from the Print Shop in CW, MS white border; Ink - Versafine onyx black; Accessories - Clear EP, waxed linen thread, MS bird punch, Copic & Prismacolor markers, vellum zot dots and dimensionals.

CC205 Pink, Plum and Kiwi in Cracked Glass

Made this card for today's color challenge on SCS -- combining pink pirouette, perfect plum and kiwi kiss.  I combined these colors with the cracked glass technique.  I think cracked glass is my favorite technique and so fun to do.  I did something different this time.  While the Utee was still warm, I sprinkled my heart with Dazzling Diamonds, which gives my image lots a sparkle.  It didn't photograph well, but believe me, it's there!
Sorry it's been forever since I've posted.  We are having some work done on our windows.  I've had to partially take apart my stamp room and just got it back together.  I have one more round of moving everything before I'll be able to get everything back for good.  Wish we luck!
Supplies:  Stamps - Stampington & Co. robin script heart; Paper - SU! pink pirouette, perfect plum, kiwi kiss; Ink - VersaMark, pink piourette, perfect plum, kiwi kiss; Accessories - Utee, Sizzix Top Note die, Cuttlebug EF, Stampendous diamond dots, Dazzling Diamonds, PTI ribbon, MS flowers and gold micro beads, zots, foam tape and deckle scissors.
