TLC281 Oranges and Cherries

Hi everyone!  Sorry I've been MIA this past week.  Back's been given me a fit, and I haven't done much in the way of crafting.  Finally played today with my Oranges and Cherries images from the Doodle Pantry.  I made this card for the Technique Lovers Challenge on Splitcoast -- embossing on embossing.  First, I heat embossed my image using clear embossing powder before dry embossing with a Sizzix EF.  Not sure I like the look.  What do you think?
Have a super day, and thanks so much for stopping by!
Supplies:  Stamps - Oranges and Cherries by Doodle Pantry; Paper - SU! more mustard, PTI green, GP white, MS embossed border; Ink - Versamark, Distress Inks in antique linen, scattered straw and orange marmalade; Accessories - MS flowers, pearls, ribbon from Mike's Sizzix leaf die and EF, clear EP, SU! scallop circle punch and corner rounder.

  10. I think it looks neat with all the dots, normally couldn't get away with that much embossing, but it's a simple image so ties in well. Hope your back is feeling better!

  11. Pat, sorry about your back, that is NO fun! I do like your card and how you did the embossing over the image with sponging color over it too. I LOVE how you combined the cherries and oranges, now that is lovely! Your coloring is perfect as always, and this card is a fabulous design!
