Happy Holidays

Hi All!  I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying the holidays.  I finally treated myself  to some 'me' time today and hope to catch up with my  blogging buddies over the next few days.  This was the first Christmas that I can remember that I was frantic with last minute cleaning, shopping and cooking until the very last minute before our company arrived; and I hope it never happens again!  My New Year's resolution is definitely going to be "better organization",  and I am also resolving to make Christmas cards throughout the year!  I may feature some type of Christmas post each month as a way to fulfill this resolution.

No, I did not start a new stash of cards for next Christmas.... just sharing a card I made my husband.  It's one of my favorites, probably because I used felt (something I hadn't incorporated on a card in a very long time).  I love the feel of this MFT felt and it cuts like butter.  Also it reminds me of a Christmas stocking I had as a kid...

The vintage image is one I found on the Cleariy Vintage blog, and I am happy to report that my husband really liked it.  My very best wishes for a very  enjoyable holiday week and a very Heathy, Happy New Year!  Stay warm and drive carefully in all the snow!

I really LOVE the Big Hug Bunny with Santa Accessories card that arrived in the mail on Christmas Eve ... it's a real STUNNER IRL! Thanks so much.

  6. Gorgeous Pat! Love the way you used the ribbon and the poinsettia looks perfect with it. I am with you, I am going to work on my cards through the year too. I am challenging myself (you too if you want to play) to post at least one card on the 25th each month. Maybe that will keep me on track. Happy New Year!!
