Balloon Ants Color Plus

Good Morning!  The weather has certainly been unnerving here the last week.  Hard to believe the East Coast experienced an earthquake and hurricane/tropical storm in the same week!  My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the storms and earthquake.

I'm finally back to stamping and made this card for today's Digital Tuesday Challenge #126 --"Going Buggy" sponsored by the Doodle Pantry. The pre-colored image is from the DP Balloon Ants Color Plus set.  This set comes with both colored and outline images, sentiments and digi papers.  I inserted one of the sentiments  inside the balloon and used one of the dotted digi papers included with the set.

I will also be entering this card in the following challenges:
Totally Gorjuss Challenge 95 -- As you like it!
Jellypark Friends Friday Challenge -- Die Cuts and/or punches
Our Craft Lounge Challenge  OCL#80 -- Clean & Simple - Lots of Dots

So glad you were able to stop by.  Thanks so much and enjoy your week!

DPSTP05 -- Quirky Crab

Hi all!  Doodle Pantry has posted a new Stock the Pantry Challenge (DPSTP5) on their blog.  It's easy to play along -- just use a Doodle Pantry image.  So don't be crabby -- get crafty and join in the fun!  There are lots of prizes up for grabs.  Click here for all the details.

Now about my card... I merged two Doodle Pantry images into one.  First, I selected and cropped some of the grass from the Caterpillar Hug set.  Then pasted it into a Word document.  Next, I selected the outline png image from the Quirky Crab set and merged it on top. I colored the images including the sky and sand with Copic markers. Then I covered the crab and grass with a VersaMark pen before heat embossing with clear embossing powder.  I also added "faux" sand for dimension.  The DSP is also from the Quirky Crab set.

This card incorporates some wonderful challenges.  Here is a list of the challenges I will be entering:

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge (CFC16) -- Embossing ( i used both heat and dry embossing.)

Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

School Sheep

Hi everyone!  I have a fun 'back to school' card to share with you today.  I used a Doodle Pantry pre-colored image from the School Sheep COLOR plus set.  The matching digi papers are from  School Time Digi Paper Pack.  The sentiment  on the inside fold was computer-generated. To create the banner I used a pennant border from Taylor Expressions... talk about easy peasy!

For this card, I used an accordion fold.  Below is a picture of the card showing the front and last panel.

I really had fun with this one and will be entering this card in the following challenges;

Stamp Fairy Challenge -- Back to School

So glad you were able to stop by.  Thanks so much and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Plain and Simple Ornaments

Hi All!  Since it's a rainy day here, I decided to pass the day by catching up on some challenges and getting some Christmas cards made for my stash.  With the help of a combined challenge sponsored by Clean and Simple FTL and CAS-ual Friday Challenges, I was even inspired to make a postage-friendly card, without lumps or bumps.  Even though my card is square, I sized it (41/4" X 41/4") to fit in an A2 envelope to avoid extra postage.  Letters to Santa DSP and Embellishments  by MDS were used to create my card.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful challenges!  Here's the list of challenges I will be entering:

Inspire Me Fridays 19 -- anything goes
Fab "n" Funky Challenge #85 -- It's Christmas!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Letters to Santa

Hi All!  Just a quick post today to share a card I made with some new MDS downloads - Letters to Santa DSP and Embellishments.  I also added a favorite Doodle Pantry Christmas sentiment.  While I like how this card turned out,  I  really need to make a postage-friendly version that I can mass produce.  Oh well, perhaps I will be able to come up with an idea over the weekend....

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your day!

MMSC116 -- Boy with Bug

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!  Today's card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 116 (MMSC116).  My "priscillastyles" Store image is Boy with Bug.  I used Photoshop to isolate the caterpillar from the image so I could use it to embellish my main panel and sentiment.  What fun!!  The sentiment is from the Computer Ants set by Doodle Pantry.

My image was colored with Copic Markers.  I also used pastels to highlight the sky and skin tones. Buttons and a flower from my stash finish the design.  I am very happy with how this turned out and hope you like it too.  I will also be entering this creation in the following challenges:

Challenges:
Card Cupids New Challenge Sunday #33 -- Create a card featurrng buttons or ribbon
Just Some Lines Saturday Challenge -- Outdoors/Summer Colors
Crafty Calendar Challenge -- August Challenge-Hot Colors

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and visit.  Have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting!

Falling Leaves

Hi All!  While I hate to see summer end, I am ready for less humidity and cooler temps.  So I decided to jumpstart the season by creating this fun card for Fall.  My colored images, sentiment and digi paper are from the Doodle Pantry set called Falling Ants Combo.  I distressed the edges of the main panel with antique vintage and copper inks, then embossed with clear embossing powders.  To embellish the tangerine tango panel, I  layered on some leaves made with MS punches and a Cuttlebug die.

Challenges:
Ellephantastic Challenge -- August Challenge (add some layers)
Little Red Wagon Challenge #92 -- Put a critter on it

Stay cool and have a great week!

DPBC15 and New Release

Good Morning! I am happy to announce that Laurie has stocked the Doodle Pantry with the new August releases, and I am also excited to showcase 3 of the new sets.  Above is a card and altered scrapbook which I made using one of the outline images from the new Vintage Auto set, as well as 2 of the digi papers from the Vintage Auto Paper Pack.  I just about flipped when I saw the images and sentiments included with the Vintage Auto set... Laurie even included black and white digi papers!  The Vintage Auto Paper Pack is filled with gorgeous colored digi papers,  For the projects (pictured above), I colored both cars and suitcases with Copics and Spica markers to match the digi papers.

Below is a set of cards that came together quick as a wink.  I used the colored autos from the new Auto Vintage Color Plus set.  I kept my designs CAS, and combined sentiments from Vintage Auto, digi papers from the Vintage Auto Paper Pack, and the fabulous pre-colored cars from the Auto Vintage Color Plus set.

I really had fun playing with these 3 new sets,  The possibilities are endless as these sets work so well individually or combined.  So hurry on over to the Doodle Pantry to check them out as well as all the other new releases.  While you are at the Doodle Pantry Store, be sure to check out the great deals Laurie is offering during the month of August.  Click here to go directly to the page which lists the specials that start August 5.
