Snowdrops

Hi everyone.  Yesterday I had to make a sympathy card for a dear friend whose mother passed away.  Don't know about you, but I find sympathy cards very difficult to make.  By keeping my design simple... just a floral image with sentiment on the main panel... this card  came together easily and quickly.   The floral image I used is from Doodle Pantry's Snowdrops set.  The sentiment is one of three sentiments included in the new Sympathy Sentiment Freebie set.  This set is also by Doodle Pantry and can be found on the freebies page and downloaded for free without making other purchases.  Thank you Laurie!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  Thank you for visiting today!

  1. Pat, you did a lovely job on this card. I love the layered flower and the simplicity of it all.

I recently had to make a sympathy card for my sister-in-law whose father passed away. Very difficult cards to make, but I agree that simple designs are best!
