Winter Star

Morning everyone!  Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the Pile it On Challenge.  The theme for this week's challenge is "Sprinkle It".  For my take on the the challenge, I heat embossed the white panel with Kaleidoscope embossing powder into which I sprinkled some silver sparkles... It's an easy way to add glitter without the mess or worry that the glitter will shed or rub off.

The image is DP's beautiful Winter Star.    The stars were die cut with framelits dies; then layered.  I added rhinestones and tiny diamond dot embellishments for extra sparkle; and fussy cut an extra center which I mounted to the card with dimensions.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Crafty Calendar November Challenge -- It's All About Christmas
Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge TT112714 -- Anything goes with optional twist:  add some winter sparkle
Paper Creators Crafts Challenge #33 -- All About Christmas
Brown Sugar Challenge #122 -- Anything Goes
Completely Christmas Challenge #40 -- Anything Goes with a twist - Something beginning with an S.  (I used stars.)
Creative Corner Challenge -- Winter Wonderland

Thanks so much for stopping by; I hope you have a wonderful week!

Morning everyone!  Today Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge -- Anything Goes.  For my sample for the challenge, I created a Thanksgiving scene by combining the cute Quirky Turkey image and sentiment with the pumpkin maze from Mini Mazes Halloween.  The leaves behind the pumpkin maze are from Pumpkin Birdie Pre-colored.  I also used digi paper from Quirky Turkey for the die cut leaves which I mounted on the die cut border with dimensionals.

I will be entering this card in the following fun challenges:

Brown Sugar Challenge #120 -- Anything Goes

Lively Leaves

Morning, everyone!  Here's my try at clean and simple.  CAS designs are something I really struggle with... After many attempts that ended in the trash, I  finally created a CAS design that works without being blah.  Kudos to the creators of all the fabulous CAS designs on the web...You have my deepest respect and praise cause clean and simple sure isn't easy!

For this card, I used a Doodle Pantry set called Lively Leaves.  The leaves were paper-pieced (digitally)  The sentiment is also from the same set..

I will be entering my card in the following challenges:
Digi Choosday Crafting Challenge Week 45 -- CAS (clean and simple)
2 Cute Challenge #119 -- Orange, Yellow and Brown Coior Theme
Cardz 4 Guys Challenge #44 -- Thanksgiving or Thankful

Doodle Pantry Release

Morning everyone and a happy new month.  It's release day at Doodle Pantry and you are going to love all the new sets that are now available.  For my card, I combined two of the sets,  Sledding Charlie and Snow Globe Gala.

I grouped Charlie's image and one of the snow globes together.  Then added the sentiment on top of the the snow globe.  Although barely visible in the photo, I added fun flock to the white parts of the hat.  For extra dimension, I fussy cut an extra scarf, and adhered it in place with foam dots.   Glitter was also added to the snow.

When you stop by the Doodle Pantry Store to see all the new goodies, don't forget to check out the Specials for November!

Finally, want to let you know that I may not be able to post for a while until my new computer is fixed.  Sigh...

Thanks for stopping by!
