CPS148 - Basket of Happiness

Hi All! Don't know about you but I am still trying to get back in the groove after the holidays. I am happy to say that I finally did some crafting yesterday. I used this week's CPS sketch #148 and my all-time favorite Gina K. image from the Baskets of Happiness set to make a card.
Since I can't wait for Spring, I decided to warm things up a bit and broke opened my Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay DSP. Copics were used to color my image and I even used my RV25 Copic marker to dye my tiny pearls to match.
Hope everyone has a Happy Tuesday! Stay warm and thanks so much for stopping by!!
Supplies: Stamps - Gina K. Designs - Tag, You're It! and Baskets of Happiness; Paper - SU! Melon Mambo DSP and Bermuda Bay textured, PTI select white; Ink - Versafine onyx black and Copic Markers; Accessories - Clear EP, MS scalloped border, various punches, foam tape, Recollections pearls.

  3. Hey lady, how were your holidays? This is a beautiful card, love that scalloped & embossed border. Looks like eyelet. Yes I am getting excited about Feb and trying not to because it makes it take longer. Emily came home from Hawaii for 2 weeks so that should help pass the time but it is killing me that she is not going to get to see her Daddy, they are both very sad about that. Hugz,

  7. Love the colors! The flowers are so pretty with their little pearl centers too. I have had a hard time getting settled in after the holidays too, I think I am settling down now though.

Did I tell you it was 46.7°c (116°f) here on Sunday :-( No air-conditioning for us either at the moment ... I feel like I'm melting .... much cooler day forecast for tomorrow!
