FS111 Hippity Hoppity

Beate is today's featured stamper on SCS.  She is one of my favorite paper crafters.  Beate's gallery is amazing and full of inspiration!!  If you have never tried the FS Challenge on SCS you really should give it a try.
Essentially, the challenge is to CASE a creation in the Featured Stamper's SCS gallery and change some of the elements to make the card your own.  Here is the card I CASED.  I kept the general design, but changed the colors and stamps.  I also used the same type of medallion shown on Beate's card.
Since Spring is finally here, I thought I would get a start on my Easter cards and used my new Hippity Hoppity set by Shirley's 2 Girls.  Isn't this bunny the cutest?!
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope you like my take on Beate's card.
Supplies:  Stamps - SG38 Hippity Hoppity by Shirley's 2 Girls; Paper - SU! almost amethyst, pumpkin pie, PTI white, Shirley's 2 Girls DSP shout check, s.e.i DSP, PTI white, generic white base; accessories - Michaels pompom ribbon, rain dots, embroidery thread,Copic and prismacolor markers, SU! scallop edge punch, Marvy scallop square punch and dimensionals.

  3. The bunny is so cute and looks terrific framed in the scallops. The patterned paper is a perfect complement to the theme.

  5. Pat this is just adorable! I love the image and how you have cut it out & popped it! The dimensional dots on the blue background is a nice touch too - is it part of the paper or did you add these?
We seem to have arrived at autumn finally (possibly a return to hot weather at the end of the week for a day or two though).
Should have some time to play this arvo ... and maybe new SU catalogues in the mail today! :-)
