Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday and weekend. Above is a quick and easy card using images, a sentiment and digi paper from Doodle Pantry's Eat More Ham set (prev. sold by CDS). After grouping the pre-colored turkey and leaves in a Microsoft Word document, I inserted a callout shape and merged the sentiment on top. After printing the image and assembling the card, I just added some punched leaves and a SU! embellishment and this fun card was ready to mail.
Today, Doodle Pantry is releasing their new December images as well as having a huge sale -- 40% off products (excluding bundled products and fundraiser sets). This offer runs through December 3rd. Click HERE to get the code for the sale and to see the other December specials.
Next, is a preview of the new December set, Critter Fun:
I used Critter Fun colored images without backgrounds to create a set of ornaments for one of our newest family members:
To dress these darling images for Christmas, I just merged the following elements from these Doodle Pantry sets:
Merged the Christmas Tree from Bitty Christmas behind the Cow.
The Santa hat and gift from Santa Accessories Color plus were merged in front of the Pig.
Cropped then merged two poinsettias from Holiday Nutcrackers in front of the Bear.
A cropped holly sprig and gift from Santa Accessories Color plus were merged in front of the Squirrel.
A scarf from Winter Accessories Color Plus as well as a holly sprig from Holly Wreath were merged in front of the Frog.
The wreath from Holly Wreath was merged behind the Horse.
In case you are wondering how I assembled the ornaments... I die cut the images and adhered them to die cut ornament shapes. Embellishments include lots of glitter and glaze, die cut bows and rhinestones. An ornament hook was glued and sandwiched between the front of the ornament, and backed with another die cut ornament shape to cover the hook and hold it in place. I sure hope little Ben has fun hanging these fun-to-make ornaments on the tree!
Thanks so much for stopping by and bearing with my long-winded post . Enjoy your day!
