Pumpkin PigWit

Hi All,  Just a quick post today.  Finally finished my card for From the Heart Digital Stamp of the Month August Challenge.  This month's set is called Pumpkin Pig Wit, and I think it's the cutest!

I colored this sweet image with Copics and colored pencils.  I kept my design simple; and just added a few die cut embellishments so this sweet piggy would take center stage.

Big Trucks

Happy start to a new work week.  Today, Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the Incy Wincy Challenge.  The theme is "things with wheels".  Perfect timing too as I I couldn't wait to use the new DP set, Big Trucks.  By merging a sentiment from Birthday Accessories on the side of the truck, I was able to dress up this image for a birthday celebration.

Hugs and Fishes

Happy Friday!  I've been wanting to play with this image for some challenges all week. So glad I got it done in time.  This cute whale is from a Doodle Pantry set called Winter Eskimo. I used the outline whale image from the set and added some digital paper piecing to the underside of the whale.  Coloring was done with Copics.   After coloring the image, I fussy cut in out by hand and mounted it with dimensionals on top of the water background paper. The sentiment is also from the same set.  All papers are by Stampin Up.  I used various die cuts and punches to finish my design.  I'm happy with how this turned out; and think it will be a fun birthday card for one of the little guys in our family.

Morning Everyone!  Today's starts a new challenge at Simply Create Too. The theme for Challenge #68 is Monochromatic Madness.  This challenge runs through August 28.  Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  Sure hope you join in the fun!

For my card I used one of the flower images from the Flower Patch brush set by MDS /SU! as well as 5 coordinating dies from the Flower Fair Framlits  die set by Stampin Up.  The sentiment die cut is by Cuttlebug.  Patterned digi papers are by Doodle Pantry.

School Bus Ants

Happy Monday!  I have a back-to-school card to share today.  My starting point was Sweet Sketch-2 23, which I turned on its side.  I combined images and digi papers from two Doodle Pantry sets -- School Bus and Ant Accents Color Plus.  This was a fun card to make and easy too as I used the pre-colored images from the sets.

Mustache Messages

Hi everyone!  Today I have a flip it card to share made with the help of a Circle Flip its Die by Sizzix.  The image combines elements from two different Doodle Pantry sets -- The mustache image, sentiment and digi paper are from Mustache Messages; and the goose (which I cropped) is from Goose Me.  This was a fun card to make and easy too!

Carousel Dolphin

Happy August!  Gosh summer seems to be rushing by.  With the new month comes a new release by Doodle Pantry; and I am excited to share one of the new releases, Carousel Dolphin.  I love the vintage feel of this sweet image.  It brings back many wonderful memories of summer vacations, carnivals, and trips to the amusements park.

I colored the image with Copic markers and colored pencils.  Edges were distressed with Crushed Curry ink.  I used lots of layers and a scallop border die cut.  Finishing touches include a silver ribbon and metal embellishment.
