Oldie but Goodie

This card is an oldie but goodie..... Made ages ago, but never posted to my blog.  It uses a variation of the Emboss Resist Technique.
After coloring my tree with SU! markers, I applied a VersaMark embossing pen to some of the areas of my tree; then I embossed with clear embossing powder.  Next, the crown of the tree was sponged with 2 shades of green ink.  A quick wipe with a tissue removed any unwanted ink from the areas that were embossed.  I really like this technique.  It's easy, quick and lots of fun to do!
Thanks so much for visiting today.  Be sure to stop back for Twisted Thursday!
Supplies:  Stamps - PTI Father Knows Best and Garden of Life; Paper - SU! sage shadow, whisper white, PTI - DP, generic white base; Ink - Versafine onyx black, VersaMark embossing pen, Adirondack bottle & SU! sage shadow for sponging, SU makers for coloring; Accessories - PTI ribbon, clear EP, buttons, deckle scissors, Cuttlebug embosing folder, Creative Memories cutter.
