Happy Friday, everyone! For my card today, I combined two SCS challenges --this week's sketch, SC240, with today's LSC232 -- make a card with food and limit the colors to 'food colors' such as barely banana. For my food, I chose the ice cream sundae image from the Gina K Designs set called How Sweet It Is! For my food colors, I used barley banana, chocolate chip and crushed curry (although technically a spice, I considered it food since it is something we eat.). Hope the food police don't come after me! I also used close to cocoa for sponging around my image. Hope you like what I came up with, and thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your weekend! Supplies: Stamps - How sweet it is! by Gina K. Designs!; Paper - SU! barley banana, chocolate chip, crushed curry, and Patterns DSP in crushed curry, PTI select white, generic white base; Ink - Adirondack pitch black, SU! close to cocoa for sponging; Accessories - dew drops, various Marvy punches, dimensionals, Nesties scallop circle die and Copic markers for coloring. |
