Gifts of Spring

Hi everyone. Laurie Wilson of Clearly Delightful Designs sent me this whimsical digital image called Wire Basket. Thanks Laurie!
I colored the flowers and basket with my Copic markers and although you can't see it in the photo, the petals of the flowers, basket handle and wire lines were also glazed with a clear glaze pen. In addition, I glazed the centers of the flowers with a yellow glaze pen. I really like how the glaze gives my image a slight shine and added dimension.
After I die cut my image with my Spellbinders scallop oval die, I used my pastels to shade the background before I removed my die. Talk about easy peasy! I finished my card with a PTI sentiment, ribbon, bling and some flower embellishments I made with with the help of my punches. What fun!
Supplies: Stamps - Wire Basket by Clearly Delightful Designs, sentiment by Papertrey Ink; Paper - all papers by SU! except for PTI select white which I used for my base and image; Ink - Memento tuxedo black, Copic Makers and injet printer; Accessories - Spellbinder oval dies, SU! oval punches, MS flower punches, EK success flourish punch, circle punches, clear and yellow glaze pens, Mike's ribbon, clear EP, dimensionals, Hero Arts gems, pastels.
