Mojo Monday Challenge #124

Greetings from snowy Maryland! The East Coast is getting hammered again. We are expecting between 18-24 inches of the white stuff before it is expected to end Saturday night. Guess I'll be doing lots of stamping!
Here's a card I made today for the Mojo Monday challenge #124. What a great sketch. I really had fun with this one. I combined one of the hot air balloons from Verve's Up, Up & Away set with Unity's Love in the air sentiment... I think it's a perfect match for Valentine's Day. I love it when an idea that's been floating in my head finally comes together on paper!
Stay warm and drive safely!
Snow Update 2/6 -- Earlier today the national weather service reported that Columbia has an accumulation of 28 inches of snow with another 7-ll inches expected today! Yikes!
Supplies: Stamps - Verve's Up, Up & Away, sentiment from Unity's Love in the air!; Paper - SU! basic black, rose red, taken with teal, sahara sand, and Welcome Neighbor DSP; Ink - Memento tuxedo black; Accessories - clear EP, SU! 1-1/4" circle punch, MS hearts punch, Nestabilites, button & thread from my stash, foam tape; technique - paper piecing.

  8. This card is adorable! I love the hot air balloon. Hope you're staying warm. It's snowing again here in Glenwood, Colorado, so I'm making chili to settle in and watch the Superbowl (while stamping, of course!)
