Happy Sunday, everyone. Today I am very excited to share a card I made for the Gingerloft Challenge #3 as a guest designer. This week's challenge is all that glitters or bling. Glitter or bling... now what could be easier or more fun!
For today's challenge, I used the beautiful Gingerloft digital image called Winter Trees. I formatted my image in Photoshop Elements to change the color to blue, and used the "dryer sheet technique" to add glitter to my image. Click here to view the tutorial on SCS that gives step-by-step instructions for the dryer sheet technique . I also added a layer of glitter to the bottom of my card, and there is a tiny rhinestone on my snowflake.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit, and I hope you will be joining in the fun at Gingerloft. Can't wait to see what you create!
Supplies: Gingerloft Digi Stamps - Winter Trees., Paper - PTI select white base, GP white, Recollections silver, SU! night of navy; Ink - computer; Accessories: Spenbinders deckle edge dies, used dryer sheet, Stampendous crystal glitter, Sookwang sticky tape, snowflake and rhinestone from my stash.
What a stunning card Pat! You can just make out some of the glitter - bet it looks awesome IRL!

ReplyDeleteHi Pat -
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog yesterday and the kind comments you left there.
On your card, I love this image in blue - what a great idea to recolor it. It has such an elegant look to it. The whole card actually. Very pretty.
