I am also pleased to share 2 cards today using newly released DP sets. For my first card, I used the new
'Cowboy Birdie' set. This set comes with both outline and colored images, sentiments, and 1 sheet of digi paper. I combined the Cowboy Birdie digi paper with one of the blue patterned digi papers from the matching
'Western Digi Paper Pack' to created my teabag folded motif. The sweet birdie was colored with Copiic Markers; the hat band and neckerchief were paper pieced.
I wil be entering this card in the following challenges:
I really had fun using these images to create an anniversary card for my niece and her husband. Images were colored with Copics and Spica pens. Of course, I had to add wiggly eyes and some bling! I finished my design with a handmade flower created with the help of punches and a computer-generated sentiment.
