Quirky Penguin


Hi everyone. Today I had some fun with Doodle Pantry's Quirky Penguin.  Isn't he the cutest!  I used one of the pre-colored images from the set.  Of course, I couldn't resist adding a Santa Hat from the Santa Accessories set.  After copying and pasting the images and sentiment into a Word document, I filled in the dotted background digitally.  After printing, the hat was colored with Copics, and white Fun Flock was added to the trim.  

I fancied up the design with dies and punches .  The ornament was punched with a MS punch and embellished with dazzling diamonds and some bling.  The fancy edge on the black background layer was cut with a lattice rectangle die by Spellbinders.

    Wonderful card Pat! The black punched out frame really makes it all work. Your penguin is perfect and the ornament finishes it off very nicely. Beautiful, beautiful card!!
