Morning everyone! Christmas Stampin' All Year Long is back with a new challenge this week to get you in the holiday spirit. First up, our sponsor for this challenge is Fred She Said with a $10 gift certificate to the store for one participant.
The theme for this week's CSAYL Challenge #28 is COLOR COMBOS
Choose one of the color combinations used by the design team for your creations.
For my card I used a blue, white and silver color combo with touches of red for pop. The Fred She Said image is Catchin Flakes. I also used Catchin Flakes digi papers for the background layers and to paper piece the clothing. Coloring was done with Copics. The silver tree was created with the help of a Papertrey Ink die and decorated with Tim Holtz tinsel.
Be sure to link up your creations HERE by Wednesday, August 14th at midnight EST for your chance to win! Can't wait to see what you create.
I will be entering my card in the following challenges:
Can You Digi It -- Holiday Hullabaloo
Deep Ocean Challenge Blog -- Christmas in July
CHNC Challenge Extra for August -- Anything goes (must be Christmas)
Christmas Cards All Year Round' August Challenge -- Christmas Extravaganza -make it fussy and fancy

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and happy card, Pat. Love all the dimension and textures. Super cute!
ReplyDeleteHi, Pat! For some reason, since you joined the team, I have not been able to visit your site. Google denies me whenever I try to click on your link from the CSAYL challenge blog. But I was determined today and figured out a way to get here. So, all that to say, I haven't been ignoring you or your projects, I've just been outsmarted by technology (it happens to me fairly often). Your card is gorgeous! I love the clean, crisp look to it and adding the pops of red to the blue and white color scheme really makes it come alive!
ReplyDeleteLoved this image and your digi papers. Liked the paper piecing on the clothing using your digi dp too. The glitter of the tinsel on the tree added great dimension & texture to this fun card. TFS
ReplyDeleteYour tinsel brought a huge smile to my face!
