Window Box Tulips

Hi everyone,  hope you had a fun St. Patrick's Day.  We woke up to 8 inches of snow yesterday, so I guess you could say our day was white instead of green.   Don't know about you but I am so tired of the cold and snow... so I made a spring card to share today.

I combined two Doodle Pantry sets, Tulip Wreath and Window Box Wishes.  The tulips are pre-colored, but I did add a bit of color to the white tulips.  I also colored the window and flower box with Copics.  The valance was paper-pieced with digi paper from theTulip Wreath set.  I also cut out extra tulip blossoms and adhered them to some of the tulips in the window box with dimensionals for a 3-D effect.  To carry out the theme, I embossed the front of the card with a Framed Tulips EF by SU!

I will be entering my card in the following fun challenges:
Love Create Challenge #107 -- CAS and/or Classy & Elegant
613 Avenue Create Challenge #63 -- Anything Goes with Optional theme 2D/3D flowers
Great Impressions March Challenge -- Spring Celebrations

Thank so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

  11. Such an awesome card, Pat! Hopefully it will chase away your snow and bring spring running to you. We didn't get snow but it's been so dark and dreary the last few days. I love the tulips and the combination of the window just creates such a lovely scene. Thanks for sharing this one!
