Hi everyone! We are back from our mini vacation; and after playing catch up, I finally had some time to craft. Today I have a card to share, using Doodle Pantry's Carousel Zebra. First, I created a snow globe by inserting 2 different shapes in a Word document. After formatting the shapes and merging them together, I pasted the zebra image in the same document and positioned the image "in front" of the snow globe. The base of the globe was paper pieced with the black stripe digi paper that comes with this set . I also fussy cut an extra copy of the zebra image and attached it with dimensionals for some extra depth.
Both the image and mat were cut out with with Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mat dies. Embellishments include a sheer black dotted bow with a fancy brad as well as various sizes of pearls and red rhinestones. (Sorry the small pearls and rhinestones are barely visible in the photo.)
I will be entering my card in the following fun challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #200 -- Stripes
Crafty Girls Challenge 21 -- Anything Goes
Crafty Little Fairies June Challenge -- Spots and Stripes
Crafty Ribbons Challenge 95 -- Stitching Real or Fake plus Ribbon
