Simply Create Too Challenge 80

Hi all,  Today starts a new challenge on Simply Create Too which runs through March 12.  The theme for Challenge 80 is St. Patrick's Day/or use mostly green on your creation.   We would love for you to join in the fun and share your St. Pat's/mostly green creations with us.

My card for the challenge uses the Irish Birdie image by Doodle Pantry.  I let this adorable image take center stage and layered on doilies, pearls and a bow with flower to finish my design.

Funky Sock Monkey

Morning everyone!  It's Tuesday and that means a new release at Doodle Pantry.  Lots of new goodies are in the shop.  Plus all the new releases are marked down 25% for today only, February 17.

For today's release, I made a sample using the new set, Funky Sock Monkey.  This darling set was created to help support Operation Write Home.  One dollar of every sale of this product will be donated to this worthy cause.

For the card above, I combined one of the pre-colored monkeys and papers from Funky Sock Monkey with a cropped balloon and sentiment from one of my older favorites, Winter Birthday.  After cropping the balloon, I added paper-piecing. Then I merged the balloon and monkey images together.  The balloon embellishment was made with dies from Lil' Inker Designs.

Little Critters

Hi everyone, hope all is well and you are seeing some sun in your neck of the woods.  It's been cold and dreary here with a mix of rain, sleet and snow expected later today... At least the weather gives me an excuse to stay indoors and get busy finishing up some Valentine's cards for the little ones in the family.

By combining a conversation heart from Doodle Pantry's Heart Candy Ants with one of the images from Little Critters, I was able to turn this cutie raccoon into a fun Valentine.

Birdbrain Conversation Hearts

Happy Friday!  Just a quick post today to share the card I made using sketch 096 from i {heart} card sketches.  I rotated the sketch; and instead of using a circle, I added a die cut sentiment to embellish my card.  The image is the super cute Birdbrain Conversation Hearts.

Ants In My Pantry Digital Challenge 2

I'm back with a heads up... A new Ants In My Pantry Challenge (AIMPDC2) starts today on the Doodle Pantry Blog.  The theme for this month's challenge is to use candy (and optional add some ribbon).

For my card, I used the outline mouse with heart candy from Doodle Pantry's Valentine Mice set. The digi paper and sentiment are from the same set.  The sentiment and extra heart candies were adhered to the card with foam dots for added dimension.

Aussie Critters
