Rubber Boots


Hi everyone!  Every spring when the temps warm up and we get lots of rain, tiny sugar ants manage to find a way into my craft room through the weep holes in the window tracks... I'm not a big fan of ants except for the fun digi kind!  So after a morning debugging the area, I was inspired to create a spring card using two Doodle Pantry sets -- Rubber Boots and Ant Accents Color.  

The rubber boots image was paper-pieced and colored digitally.  Although not visible in the photo, the flowers were glazed and sprinkled with glitter for added sparkle and shine.

    I am adoring this and would like a 16 by 24 inch version of it famed to put in my house!! Love the image and think the background is superb for the pic and that bow with the daisy button has my heart ALL a flutter!!! Such a wonderful card!!

    The perfect Spring card, this would look so nice out in the yard. We have had a lot of rain this April so I hope it will bring us lots of May flowers only thing is we cannot get into the yard to do anything. Have a great week.
