Sponsor -- Bearly Mine Designs
Good Morning! It's Friday and time for another Christimas Stampin' All Year Long Challenge (CSAYL30). This week we have a photo inspiration challenge to inspire your creations.
For my card, I took my inspiration from the fun cupcakes and candy canes. I combined red and green accents with digi papers from our sponsor's (Bearly Mine Designs) Chirstmas Wishes set. Besides using the Christmas Wishes papers for my background layer and fishtail, I also used some of the patterned papers to paper-piece the cute Bugaboo image, Christmas Cupcake - candycanes.
After paper piecing the image, I layered the cupcake image on top of the dotted Christmas Wishes paper before printing. I finished my design with a sentiment from the SU-MDS set, Homestyle Goodies. The tiny embellishments that I added to the fishtails were made by adding rhinestones to the centers of jewelry spaces.
I will be entering my card in the following challenges:
Crafty Boots Challenge -- Christmas in August
Creative Craft Challenge #17 -- Not a square
Fashionista Challenge #19 -- Christmas
Aud Sentiment Challenge #87 -- Anything but a Birthday Card
LOVE your card! You were my inspiration to only use the neutral patterns! Great LO and that image is perfect for the inspiration :>)

ReplyDeleteWonderful!! Such a bright burst of holiday color! Christmas will be here before we know it :)
ReplyDeleteYeay!! I made it here on the first try this week! Such a cute card. At first I thought you must not have used the paper pack we received and then I realized most of your card used the tans and the red and green are the accent colors! Awesome job! I just got sucked in by the blues (maybe 'cause blue is my favorite color) and see any way to incorporate the colors of the inspiration photo. A really cute sentiment, too.
