Morning everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I posted... Life got in the way of crafting due to some necessary home repairs that needed to be done. The good news is today's the day that Doodle Pantry is releasing their September sets, and you are in for a treat! Laurie has added some spectacular new sets to the Doodle Pantry store which you won't want to miss. I am thrilled to share today's card which showcases the new Pumpkin set which will be 'free with purchase' from September 5 through September 24.
For my card, I grouped 2 different outline pumpkin images from the set; colored them with Copics, colored pencils, and added some gamsol magic. After cutting out the pumpkins, I heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder mixed with dazzling diamonds. The green patterned paper is also from the Pumpkin set. The sentiment I used is from another Doodle Pantry set, Pumpkin Peeps.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
The Perfect Sentiment PSC90 -- Ribbon, Bakers Twine, Seam Binding or all 3 (I used ribbon.)
Papertake Weekly Challenge -- Anything Goes
Paper Players #161 -- Falling for you - Fall-themed creations
Thanks so very much for stopping by! Have a great day!!

Pat, your card gets me in the mood to make fall cards. Your papers and coloring are outstanding! Now that I know you're part of the Doodle Pantry design team, I'll keep an eye out for your great projects! Thank you for sharing your card with us at The Perfect Sentiment Challenge.
ReplyDeleteKnow exactly what you mean about life getting in the way of card making. We have been doing "fall cleaning & prep". I did have some UFO images that I could make into a card to post, but when the day's chore was finished, I was way too tired to pay blog visits. Trying to do a little catchup this afternoon. Love your pumpkin. Just saw this image at another blog...it's really so pretty. I like the way you've used it on this cheery card. Your orange dot dp is so sharp looking with that crisp white on top. And the green ribbon ties it all together with this great image. TFS & Hugs
